  • John Haack

    POWERLIFTING COACH
    WORLD RECORD HOLDER

    John is an American Powerlifter based out of Madison, WI. He has been lifting since the age of 10 and lifted in his first powerlifting meet at the age of 20, where he totaled 1482lbs at 176lbs bw. He went on to win IPF open worlds in 2016 at the age of 23, and set the then 83kg all time world record total of 813kgs. He made the switch over to the untested side and has gone on to set many world records, including all time total at 181, 198, and 220 raw. His best total to day is a 2270lb total at 210.7lbs.

    Outside of lifting, himself, he began coaching lifters in 2016 and has gone on to help hundreds of athletes reach new PR’s. He has coached athletes ranging from beginner, to intermediate and up to top 10 lifters. On top of 1 on 1 coaching, he has helped develop 2 training apps and continues to be active in their discords.

  • Andy Huang

    POWERLIFTING COACH
    IRON REBEL- OWNER/COO

    Andy is a powerlifter and coach operating from Southern California. He has been competing in powerlifting since 2015 and has achieved a 1000kg/2204lb raw total at 275lbs weight class. Andy also has a background in football, bodybuilding, personal training, and neuromuscular massage.

    He uses his diverse background to coach hundreds of athletes online and in person. He is also a sought after handler at competitions by many top athletes and has coached three male athletes who were ranked in the top 10 all time, one female athlete ranked #4 all time, and 2 female lifters in the top 20 all time.

    Andy has a passion to grow the sport of powerlifting and continues to be a dedicated ambassador. Outside of coaching, he also gives seminars, is a part of many podcasts, and own 2 workout apps.

    In his free time, Andy is a homebody mostly but likes to travel around the world to explore new places and meet new people
